Ebony Chairs Wolvendaal (Dutch Reformed) Church

This chair may be accepted as belonging to the early 18th century. There are specimens of this model in the collection of chairs at the Wolvendaal (Dutch Reformed) Church. The stretcher backrail pattern, both vertical and horizontal with diamond lattice pattern between, is not uncommon in chairs of this period.
